We are delighted to announce that our new Get Muddy dating app, as featured in the Daily Telegraph last weekend, is now available for download from the App Store and Google Play for iPhone and Android users respectively.
Using location-based technology, the app will be available at specified countryside events and will allow you to log in from your mobile device, search for other singles at the same event as you, message them for free and hopefully meet up that day.
MuddyMatches was designed to provide the farmers and people living in the countryside a platform where they can find a dating partner in the countryside or a city. It allows people from the city and remote areas to join the platform and find a match for themselves. Muddy Matches This niche app is something of a pioneer, with the site going all the way back to 2006. Described by its founders as a dating site for “country-minded folk”, the app “Get Muddy” has managed to accumulate 200,000 registered members in the last 5 years. In 2006, sisters Lucy Reeves and Emma Royall set up Muddy Matches, a dating site for “country-minded people”. Operating out of a converted barn on a farm in Northamptonshire, they also launched the Get Muddy dating app in 2014 and currently have 200,000 registered members. “My sister and I grew up in the countryside,” explains Reeves.

The first countryside event that the app will be available at is the Country Life Fair, which is being held at Fulham Palace in London this weekend (27th and 28th September 2014) and we very much hope that those from London and the surrounding regions will come along to support us…and hopefully meet some lovely like-minded people at the same time! Remember, the app is free to download and free to use so it’s well worth giving it a go!
